On the occasion ofthe fortieth anniversary of the establishment of the company, coinciding withthe opportunity of the July 1 Party Festival, the company and the party branchorganised a “red tourism”to Dachen Island, branch party members, middle-levelcadres, trade union members and other more than a hundred staff activelyinvolved.  This activity aims to visitDachen Island innovation and entrepreneurship, learn the revolutionary pioneersof the spirit of reclamation, look back at history, move forward, travellingthousands of miles, remain true to our original aspiration.

In the mid to late1950s, 467 young volunteers have boarded Dachen Island in Taizhou, ZhejiangProvince to reclaim the land and start their own business, forging the DachenIsland Reclamation Spirit of "Hard Work, Endeavouring to be Stronger,Unselfish Sacrifice, Pioneering and Innovation". Looking back on the longdevelopment course of Kanghua for forty years, Kanghua has always adhered tothe scientific management concept of "people-oriented, pursuit ofexcellence", the management policy of "all for customersatisfaction" and the management goal of "pursuing safety,environmental protection, quality and no shortcomings". With themanagement goal of "pursuing safety, environmental protection, quality andno shortcomings", Kanghua has become one of the leading enterprises in thedomestic glasses accessories manufacturing industry. Now, Kanghua people setfoot on Dachen Island, embracing our original heart, learning the spirit ofreclamation of the revolutionary forefathers, strengthening the spiritual power,and continuing to forge ahead and continue to stride forward.

The monumentstands tall against the dawn, and the spirit of land reclamation in the new erahas the unchanging belief - the power of faith, melting and casting the soul ofentrepreneurship; the Jiewu Rock fights against the winds and waves withoutflinching, and the spirit of land reclamation in the new era has theunremitting pursuit - the heart of enterprise, activating the source ofinnovation; the Dachen Harbour guards the Dachen Island, which is the source ofinnovation; the Dachen Harbour protects the island. Dachen Harbour guards thefishermen for thousands of years, and the spirit of land reclamation has theoriginal intention of not forgetting the purpose of the people and leading theway to wealth creation. The spirit of reclaiming Dachen Island and thecorporate values of "honesty, dedication, friendliness andreciprocity" of Kanghuanese people are intertwined, which will certainlyspark a stronger development impetus, accumulate a deeper corporate culture,and gradually realise the corporate vision of "sharing" prosperity.
